Ready for Some Colors?

The more you celebrate and praise your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. There is no denying the link between colors and our emotions. It can be a small thing, such as gazing out the window at a patch of green for a few minutes or wearing something bright on a rainy day. Colors influence us.

Holi is one of the most significant Hindu festivals. Also known as the ‘festival of colors’, Holi signifies the triumph of good over evil. It is a day of forgiveness, friendliness, oneness and equality and make peace with everyone around us. The Holi celebrations start on the evening of the Purnima.

GCEC believes that Holi is not just playing with colors but it’s about bringing colors in our life. We celebrated Holi in our own way to bring colors in our life by wearing the traditional dress code for Holi festivities “ethinc”. Festive décor doesn’t have to mean expensive. A Holi mood was highlighted with a display of gulal in cutting chai glasses at the entryway along with bunches of colorful fresh flowers. The day is to forgive and forget, and to try ending the conflicts. Could there be a better day to make peace amongst batchmates and people who are at loggerheads in the college? It was easier with the ramp, dance and fun little games.

Celebration ended with the heartening words of our founder, CEO Paresh Gupta “May the canvas of your life be filled with colors of love, happiness, prosperity and good health. Forget your haters and ill-wishers and remember those who are near and dear to you with splashing colors.”

This year destroy the inner rage, the green-eyed monster and try being a rainbow in someone’s life 😇
